2023 is here and the demands from all spheres of life(eg;Occupational duties,School,Administrative duties)are back as well; in higher volumes or even magnitude.We need to have our mental health in check to perform these duties and roles expected of us.

During such a time,we can embrace the emotions that come with these reminders to facilitate the grief process till full recovery.
As we undergo the ups and downs of the process,let's love and be loved by those with whom we are still able to make memories with,reach out to people who may be presenting distress from this aspect of seasonally triggered grief and lastly,let's BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER,you never know what people are battling but most of all,the world needs more of it.

Mental health conditions/illness result into associated distress in our EMOTIONS,THOUGHTS and BEHAVIOR. We can add value to our lives by being self aware as individuals but also knowing when those around us(like family members,friends,class mates,work colleagues etc) are struggling and get them the professional help they need.

As we celebrate this year's World Mental Health Day,we are all challenged to heed and be our brother's keeper.
It is not only on such days that awareness should be made but with this year's theme, we are reminded about the need to increase accessibility of mental health services to all people in society regardless of race,religion,gender among other criterion.
