There was huge Turn up in the just Concluded MAKRUN 2024. let's continue to embrace every call towards Disability inclusion and Equity

Join us next Friday for the 3rd virtual exchange for students with disabilities in Universities across Africa.

On July 26, 2024, the U.S. Exchange Disability Inclusion Alumni Network - Uganda & Makerere University Business School hosted the U.S. Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. William W. Popp to a blind football organized at Makerere University Business School.

During the event, members of the U.S. Exchange Disability Inclusion Alumni Network - Uganda made a call to action to the ambassador.

This call to action included
(1) mainstreaming disability inclusion into all priority U.S.-Uganda diplomatic engagements;
(2) actively engaging people with disabilities in decision-making; (3) recruitment of skilled and talented employees with disabilities; and
(4) creating an affirmative grant program for alumni with a special focus on accelerating diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Congratulations to Komugisha Madinah, one of our students with disabilities, who has made history in the MUBS PWDS category with an impressive GCPA of 4.62 and achieving a First Class Diploma in Business Administration Your hard work and determination are an inspiration to us.
