Research has shown that students who engage in well-designed laboratory experiences develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as gain exposure to reactions, materials, and equipment in a lab setting.

𝗨𝗩𝗥𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗯𝗲 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮.

☞︎ The Institute is organized under 5 major technical and 1 administrative departments, which are closely inter-related. Each department is headed by an Assistant Director of Research assisted by a Principal Research Officer, all of whom are under the supervision of the Institute’s Director. The scientific departments are facilitated by administration and finance support services.

There are also two Units, the Immunisable Diseases Unit (IDU) or the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and the UVRI clinic or Clinical Unit for Research, that serves both Institute staff and the surrounding community; and also undertakes research.

In addition, there is a training function spearheaded by a Training Committee.

King Ceasor University Centre for Research Innovations & Commercialization trains prison health staff on how to diagnose and treat skin disease using Teledermatology.

This training is supported by Pfizer and is aimed at increasing access to specialist dermatology services by prisoners and prison staff through Teledermatology.

☞ Several benefits can be gained from grant writing training ranging from economical to organizational.

☞︎ It is, therefore, necessary for higher institutions of learning to spend time and money to get proper grants writing training for their students that would result in better prospects for grants.

Grant Proposal Writing

Aside from the obvious financial incentives we gain, there are a number of benefits associated with grants and fellowships that often go unnoticed.

We recommend everyone apply for at least one research grant before they defend their dissertation proposals. In addition to the cash award, grants can also be a great way to develop your research proposal, bolster your CV, expand your professional network, improve your chances in a struggling job market, and collaborate with strangers.

Grants Management Seminar



Grant writing is a skill of fundamental importance to the clinical researcher, and conducting high-quality clinical research requires funds received through successful grant proposals.

During the First Seminar of the month, Mr. Innocent emphasized the need to read widely, think critically and independently to enlarge their scope of Research.

He Promised to work with the Fellowship in guiding members for Grant proposals and access to funding opportunities

This fellowship will be conducting trainings to enable students prepare adequately for clinical research and innovation.
