The Uganda–Tanzania Crude Oil Pipeline (UTCOP), also known as the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP),is under construction 🚧 and intended to transport crude oil from Uganda's oil fields to the Port of Tanga, Tanzania on the Indian Ocean.

The price of crude oil is determined by:
1. Physical characteristics (density, sulphur content, etc, low sulphur grade blends generally cost more).
2. Classic supply-demand conditions.
3. Distance from main marketing outlets & trading hubs.
4. Potential risks and geneal market sentiment.
