On Friday 22nd July, Unilever Uganda launched its “Clean Ninjas Project” at Nakasero Primary School as part of the effort to make a Brighter Future a Common Place for all Ugandans.

Through the Clean Ninja Program, pupils in school will be equipped with knowledge on Basic hygiene practices to drive behavioral change as they grow into responsible adults. This is intended to reduce pupils’ absenteeism from school caused by hygiene related illnesses.

To ensure sustainability of the initiative, Unilever will leave behind training manuals for the children, hygiene communication signage, handwash centers, product samples to encourage handwashing with soap and other learning aides as deemed necessary.
