OTUBOI COMMUNITY VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE – KALAKI was established in 2017 as A Tailoring Training Center for skilling Girls, School dropouts, Young Mothers and Single Mothers. Later on 17th September 2021 it was registered with Otuboi Town Council as a Community Development Organization under OTUBOI COMMUNITY VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE – KALAKI (OCVIK).
OTUBOI COMMUNITY VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE – KALAKI is a mixed day and boarding Training Institution.
The Training Institution is located in Otuboi Town Council Kalaki District along Lira – Dokolo – Soroti Highway.
The Training Institution addresses key issues affecting the regions and societies around Kalaki and Otuboi Town Council which include; Health and Sanitation, Environment, Education, Inequality, Human rights and Economic Governance for equitable economic growth destined to having a self-sustainable, transformed and well empowered citizen.
