Dear Kigezi HS Fraternity,

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude on the past years, filled with remarkable achievements.

Together, we have celebrated milestones, strengthened various bonds, and contributed to the growth of our alma mater and supported our communities.

Thank you for always selflessly giving, making time to attend, reconnect, and strengthen our community.

It is here where we each served and connected most, and it is our prayer that the alumni, remain steadfast in serving our alumni, school, communities and families.

Dear KHS Fraternity,

We mourn the passing of one of Kigezi High School’s most outstanding alumni, Prof. George W. Kanyeihamba — Part of a class remembered for its brilliance and leadership.

In his tribute titled “Nagenda@80: Courage, Brother! Courage!”, Dr. Muniini K. Mulera reflected:

"In 1953, Nagenda, a student at King's College, Budo from 1950, was shipped off to Kigezi High School in very distant Kabaare. He needed some fine-tuning under the watchful eyes of Mr. John Wycliffe Lwamafa, who acted as headmaster until Mr. John Bikangaga returned from England the next year.

It must have been a very interesting group of kids that Nagenda joined in 1953. Other students who were admitted to Kigezi High School that year included. Matthew N. Rukikaire, George W. Kanyeihamba, John W. Rwomushana, Joram F. Katambira, Bernard Kachetero and George Mondo Kagoonyera. These are men who, in later life, demonstrated a brilliance that buttressed their debating skills and their often fearless public pronouncements on controversial issues. Theirs was a milieu that was bound to sharpen a stubbornness that was probably genetic."

Prof. Kanyeihamba’s life was a testament to that brilliance and courage. Serving as a Supreme Court Justice, Attorney General, Minister of Justice, scholar, and author, he upheld justice and integrity with unwavering dedication.

His legacy is deeply intertwined with the KHS's history—his service, achievements and contributions to the nation will continue to inspire generations.

Welcome Back from the KHOSA League Match Day 4!

Dear KHS Fraternity,

What an amazing Sunday afternoon we had yesterday! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up and made the day truly special. Your energy, both on the field and in the stands, was unmatched and made all the difference. And a special thank you to the League Committee for their hardwork & good mobilization - as always.
