A Nursery school is the project proposed. This is intended to be located in Kabale town which is found in south western Uganda. Kabale is a densely populated district. The majority of people living in it are children who are vulnerable due to orphanage, poverty, diseases like HIV Aids, child labour, child abuse. As a result they have failed to access basic essentials like food, education, shelter, clothes, medication which had resulted into many young children being exposed to risks which have resulted into many young girls on the street getting unwanted pregnancies while trying to forge ways for survival. Such children who are produced in such circumstances end up being abandoned, even some being thrown in garbage centers and other risky places like forests. The purpose of this project is to establish a nursery school for such vulnerable children who are victims of the above circumstances with a conducive atmosphere for such special group of children that will enable them to continue accessing continuous guidance and counseling .once this starts, the psychologically tortured child will be provided with parental love and care through which their lost hope will be restored. The idea has come at this time after analyzing, assessing the situation of a vulnerable child one AMOS EMANUEL NABIMANYA who was abandoned and was picked in the bush when he was about one month old. Since then many other little kids have been rescued in the same situation. We have realized that once they go to government schools, where the number of children is too big for a single teacher with a ratio of one teacher to fifty children will not enable a vulnerable child getting special attention from the teacher hence more torture that can result into school drop out. Therefore special nursery schools for such children who are already rescued by the organization is urgently needed in the names of RESTORE HOPE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL Once the project has started it will benefit many vulnerable children who have failed to access education due to lack of basic needs and scholastic materials together with school requirements like school fees. All children that are being rescued from the age of days to six years will be ensured of education centre and a remedial activity that will contribute in the rehabilitation of vulnerable children.
