We are a non profit located in Jinja, Uganda with a home for children who used to live and sleep on the streets. www.kwagalaministries.com

Kwagala exists to provide relief to homeless children by giving them a home and education. Our social workers work hard to build relationships with the families of the children and when possible, resettlement back into their families is ALWAYS the main goal. “KWAA-GA-LA” MEANS LOVE

Kwagala has officially purchased three acres of land - three acres of hope and stability where boys who have faced trauma and instability can grow in faith, build resilience, and discover their purpose.

Now, as we step into Phase 2, we’re preparing to build a permanent family home that will shelter, nurture, and empower up to 25 boys. This will be a place to belong, to heal, and to grow. Join us via the link in bio to support.

After years of prayer, hope, and unwavering trust in God… HE HAS DONE IT! 🙌🏽✨

We are beyond excited and deeply grateful to share that God has finally answered one of our long-standing prayers — we have been blessed with three acres of land in the city of Jinja! 🌿🏡

This incredible gift came through the hands of an anonymous donor, and we know without a doubt that it was God working behind the scenes. For so long, we prayed for a place to call our own — and now we have it. Three whole acres! What a mighty God we serve!

Now that we have the land, our next step is to continue trusting God for the provision to build the Kwagala Boys Home — a safe, loving space where boys can grow, heal, and thrive under God’s care.

We are standing in awe of what He has done so far, and we trust that the same God who provided the land will provide the resources to build.

To God be ALL the glory!

Celebrating Peace.

Peace was the only girl who stayed with us at Kwagala Boys Home — a quiet but strong spirit who joined us alongside her brother Eriya, after being referred to us by the police. From the very beginning, her determination stood out.

We are beyond thrilled to share that, after many years apart, Peace and Eriya have been reunited with their mother. It’s a moment we’ve all hoped and prayed for — and a beautiful reminder that healing and restoration are always possible.

After completing her primary school education, Peace was selected to take part in a tailoring course through a presidential initiative program. With hard work, focus, and that gentle resilience we’ve always admired in her, she has now completed the program and is officially a qualified tailor! ✂️👗

We can’t wait to attend her graduation ceremony and celebrate this incredible milestone with her.

Everyone at Kwagala is so proud of Peace. Her story is a testimony that no matter the challenges life brings, there is always room for hope, growth, and a brighter future.

To all the young people out there — never give up. No matter the circumstances, never lose hope.
