X-SUBA Sport4Development Uganda is a purely non profit organization working with disadvantaged young people in communities of Jinja and the rest of Eastern Uganda. We believe that power of play can transform young people's lives. That is why we provide our young people with the tools they need to protect themselves from disease, encourage them to attend and stay in school and to resolve conflict while creating peaceful communities.

We have finally certified and enrolled a total of 15 coaches in Budondo & Buwenda communities (Jinja) to lead netball for development initiatives. Our main focus is to deliver sexual reproductive health information and services through creative approaches of sport!

X-SUBA Sport4Development Uganda is a purely non profit organization working with disadvantaged young people in communities of Jinja and the rest of Eastern Uganda.
We believe that power of play can transform young people's lives. That is why we provide our young people with the tools they need to protect themselves from disease, encourage them to attend and stay in school and to resolve conflict while creating peaceful communities.
Founded in 2012, by Kenneth Agaba and Paul started as a small basketball academy teaching children basic fundamentals of basketball in Walukuba. “We started with a broken basketball” -Paul Okongo. X-Street Uganda Basketball Academy registered as a local community based organization working with children teaching them basketball and basic life skills. A year later, we introduced football and partnered with local schools where we taught life skills and basic sports and games.
Over years, X-SUBA has expanded on its programs; HEALTH (SRHR and Clothes4Health projects), SPORTS (Basketball, football. Netball, volleyball and tag rugby), Education (Learning center, ICT and Sponsorship) and YOUTH MENTORSHIP/ (Internships, volunteering and capacity building for out of school young people)
We now a fully registered NGO non profit working with local and international partners. We now embrace our new name “X-SUBA Sport4Development Uganda” with a team of 6 staff members and 10 volunteers and interns. We are more than excited to share our story, our impact
