Hey'all fellow aviation lovers! I hope you're doing very fine.
Just to let you know that s lot is coming up this semester, so please keep your heads up for:
- The CAA Public Awareness Seminar/Dinner set for 5th October 2017 in the University (MUK) Main Hall from 9am to 2pm. Here, officials from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will basically be giving us updates about what's going on at Entebbe International Airport (EIA), and the general aviation industry in UG and we'll crown up the even with a big meal.
- Bimonthly Aviation Lectures: one scheduled for Thursday 7th September 2017 at the College of Engineering, and the other scheduled for Thursday 2nd November at the college of economics/business where we'll be joined by other students from MUBS. Both lectures will be running from 9am to 1pm.
So please get excited for the new horizons, mark your calendars as well as your clocks and watches and spread the word!!!!!

Makerere Aviation Association (MAA) is a students’ association that offers awareness, knowledge, career guidance, learning fields, opportunities and possible connections for students in the field of aviation in the country. It constitutes of students from various fields of study currently enrolled at Makerere University and with a passionate interest in various fields of aviation (some of which include piloting, aerospace engineering, air traffic control, airport management, airline crew, etc.). The association is officially registered with the Guild Council, Dean of Students, and the Vice Chancellor’s office.
We therefore invite and encourage anyone with a similar blazing passion for the aviation industry to come and join the association any time from now. A one-time subscription fee of only Ugx 20,000/= will be required of you, and this entitles you to an Association t-shirt plus full Association membership.
