Nakanyonyi Girls School, Jinja Nakanyonyi Girls' School - Jinja is both "O" and "A" level boarding secondary school for girls only. This is in Mafubira subcounty, Butembe county.

Nakanyonyi Girl’s School is an O and A-level boarding secondary school founded in February 1998 by Mr. John Richard Isabirye, (M.A Educational Management and Planning) is a retired secondary school teacher, who at the time of his retirement in 2003, had served as a Head Teacher in Kiira College Butiki for 21 years. The school is seated on an academically strategic 25 acres of land. The site offers

a serene, comfortable and ideal environment for comprehensive learning. It is located on the slopes of Wanyange hill, 8 kilometers from Jinja town, on old Kakira road. From a humble beginning, the school has expanded from four acres to 25. The pioneer 240 students took shelter from semi-permanent structures. To-date we have permanent infrastructure ideal for modern learning. The school was registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports in February 2000 as a private secondary school-number PSS/N/98. It acquired a UNEB centre number U1130 the same year and sat the first lot of O-level in 2000 while the pioneer A-level sat in 2004.
