Brief Report about MONAI

We the Management, Staff and Promotors of Mount of Olives Nsuube Adventist Institute, hereby thank a very one who has either supported the Institute directly or indirectly in either financial, material contribution, moral support or in prayers. May the good Lord bless you abanduntly.

We wish to bring to you abrief statement on the progress of your institute.

The Institute (Mount of Olives Nsuube Adventist Institute) opened on 19th February with 5 pioneer Students of Feb intake 2018.

In the course of the term, more 5 Students were admitted and we are closing this Friday 27th with a total of 10 students among which 3 are Hostel Students and the other 7 are day Scholars.

Out of the 10 students still 3 enrolled for a National Certificate in Information Communication Technology while the other 7 enrolled for Fashion and Garment Design ( Tailoring)

A team of 15 Staff was recruited and offered to serve the institute among which 7 have been fully engaged in active participation of the Institute programms.

End of Term on Exams started today 23/04/2018 and are expected to be done by 26/04/2018.

Next Term (2) and the May Intake 2018 will both report on 21st May 2018. We have already admitted students and those promising to register in due course.

However, we have hot cashfow challenges whereby the student tuition fees can not meet even 5% of the Budget. We are constrained with lack of both teaching and Non teaching facilities and equipments Including Computers, Furniture, Structures, Beds, Sewing Machines, Hair dryers and finance to mention but a few.

In short, the Institute is operational but under hard ways. We therefore thank you your for your suppport to Institute and we call for more support in the said areas.

For me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.

The Management of Mount of Olives Nsuube Adventist Institute (MONAI) wishes to invite suitable Applicants to fill the positions listed below.

1. Instructor-Cosmetology/Hairdressing (02)
Should posses a minimum of a Diploma in Cosmetology from a reputable institution. Atleast 1Year teaching experience.

2. Instructor - Tailoring/Fashion & Design (01)
Should posses a minimum of a Diploma in Garments and Fashion Design/Tailoring from a reputable institution. Atleast 1Year teaching experience.

3. Instructor - Building & Construction (01)
Should posses a minimum of a Diploma in Building and Construction or Civil Engineering or any related fields. Atleast 1Year teaching experience.

4. Instructor - Carpentry & Joinery (02)
Should posses a minumum of a diploma in Carpentry & Joinery or any related fields. Atleast 1Year teaching experience.

5. Instructor - Catering (02)
Should posses a minimum of a Diploma in Hotel Management and Institutional Catering. Atleast 1years teaching experience.

6. Instructor - Kiswahili Language Should have a minimum of a diploma in Education in Kiswahili Language or related fields. Atleast 1years teaching experience.

The institute is located 14Km along Jinja-Kamuli Road at Nsuube SDA Church. Next to Institute is Nsuube SDA Secondary school.

Today 30/01/2018 was great day in the History of Mount of Olives Nsuube Adventist Institute. We met a delegation of members from Eastern Uganda Field Executives headed by the Education Director Mrs Naigaga Florence, Youth Director Eld Muboki Moses, Sabbath School Director Pr Milton Bakubye and Eld Bogere Fred Iganga Central church.

We the organising committee headed by Mr Geofrey Matende Chairman, Pr Omajju George William District Pastor, and other committee members are just happy and say God bless you all and bless MONAI.
