Executive Notice

To all IPOSA members,

Dear colleagues,
Dinner arrangements have been going on especially establishing the required infrastructure and systems to see to it that the dinner becomes a success. I invoked my powers as chairperson IPOSA to name some members on the Dinner Organising Committee (DOC) as below;
1)Naguja Serina ( VC)
2)Kagawa Naziri(Event Spokes person)
3) Yusuf Dabada (who will head the publicity and information)
4) Waiswa Ismail(Deputy Publicity and Information
4)Mugala Sylvia(Event Treasurer)
5) Otema Tony
6)Ochola Immy (Deputy Sec)
7)Kisambira V
8) Kaziba Paul
9) Ngobi Axam
10)Nakagolo Aisha(Secretary)

a) The committee shall be headed by the Chair IPOSA and it will report to the IPOSA members
b) *The* *terms* *of* *references include* ;
To organise a successful IPOSA Dinner
Reach out to all IPOSA members and friends.
Come up with the amount of money to be paid per person within two days from today
Keep updating members of IPOSA from time to time on the progress of the event
To come up with a good venue within Jinja.
Mobilise funds for the event
Come up with the agenda of the day
Contact all service providers for purposes of the event
And any other issue(s) deemed important for the success of he event

Accordingly, the committee has had several online meetings and hence agreed on a number of issues which update I now bring

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me give a brief of what the organising committee has been doing, including its resolutions on the many issues.
1) The DOC(Dinner Organising Committee) has had continuous online meetings to decide on a number of issues as required;
a) *Venue* : The acceptable venue is Source of the Nile Hotel Jinja
b) *Dinner* *fees* *
-Couples 100K
- Single 60k
- Menu type : Tentatively buffet
c) *Dates* : The Committee resolved to hold the dinner on 16th Dec , 2017
d) *Dress* *code* * : Preserve of the individual member but shd comply with decency and smartness principle.
e) *Theme* : The committee resolved to attach a theme to Dinner, and that will be Fundraising for the completion of one class room block at IPSS and as such, we shall print tickets for members to contribute during the dinner.
The cement tickets shall range from 1 bag(30k) to 5 bags(150) either payable in cash or after one month from the date of the dinner.

- That still from the dinner tickets a some percentage shall be deducted for the cement project.

That the dinner idea shd be sold to all members of IPOSA including those in the IPOSA group, face book and those off social media through extensive publicity

That all members of IPOSA and the DOC should join the publicity desk to popularise the dinner agenda

The DOC resolved that members of IPOSA should propose the guest speaker of the day.

The committee also resolved that payments for the dinner shd immediately begin and should be sent to the Treasurer of the event (Ms Mugala Sylvia)for early planning and bookings
