"A devout life lived for God undoubtedly leads to abundance, but not in the conventional sense of worldly wealth. True riches are found in the simple act of being authentic and genuine before God. From the moment we enter this world to the moment we depart, we have nothing material.

Those who relentlessly chase after wealth are destined for self-destruction. They are in a perpetual pursuit of something always just out of reach. The insatiable desire for money only invites trouble and leaves one unsatisfied. However, with the right heart and perspective, money can be a powerful tool for good. It is God's desire to get wealth into the hands of His people. But too many times people skip foundational steps of God's process in equipping them to properly manage wealth, so they remain poor. Lots of money in the hands of someone who is not disciplined is like building a house on a weak foundation. The house will be destroyed after a few heavy storms. Because of pride, too many skip steps that are essential in obtaining wealth and then growing it. In the Bible, it is referred to as despising small beginnings. If we realize the truth, we would embrace every step of the way in establishing business, investing, working at a job or even our ministry. Experience is priceless, but too many put the cart before the horse and are actually chasing the money.

When one becomes consumed with chasing money, they stray from the path of faith and often face regret later on. It is not just wealthy individuals who struggle with this temptation; those in poverty can more often develop a wrong affection for money. It is part of the reason so many seem to never get ahead. It is always reflected in how one speaks and how they do business in a deceitful manner just to get the money.

The truth is, some wealthy people are too busy pursuing their God-given desires and purpose in life to have a mindset of chasing after money. Thats whey many times they have an abundance of money. They understand that money will come naturally when they focus on perfecting what they have been entrusted with.

To develop a healthy relationship with money, we must have a right relationship with Jesus. This means more one-on-one time with the Lord in prayer and being in His Word diligently. This also requires diligently distancing ourselves from temptations that may lead us astray. Money, in the wrong hands at the wrong time, can cause more harm than good. No matter how good of a Christian certain people think they are, the heart of man can be deceitful. God knows our hearts better than we do. We must trust Him and His timing. This isn't always easy and you must learn to be honest with yourself. God is faithful and wants to work with you but you must lay your pride down.

We need to change our perspective and exchange our faulty thinking about money with truth. God desires for us to have an abundance of wealth, but certainly not for selfish reasons, but so that the Body of Christ can effectively establish His Kingdom here on earth.

Our goal must be rooted in God's will, not mankind's worldly thinking. As we walk in the power of God's grace, embracing a righteous existence filled with wonder, faith, love, and steadfastness, we become witnesses to the world. Embracing the eternal life that Jesus paid for allows us to fulfill our purpose and show the world that our God is truly Lord. Wealth is a good thing and when your mind is renewed to the truth you will see that money comes to the Body of Christ.

Let us confidently embrace this truth and run with unwavering determination on our journey here on earth. A right heart with God always leads to an abundant life in Christ in all areas. God's ways of getting us to the abundant life with money aren't necessarily our way. But when we do it God's way, we can rest assured it will last and bring glory to Him."

Praise God! My wife and I are truly grateful for the blessing bestowed upon us by the Lord - our beautiful daughter, Tehillah Zoe. As we navigate this new journey of parenthood, we find ourselves in need of some assistance. Our budget has been stretched beyond its limits, and additional expenses have come up unexpectedly.

At the moment, our most urgent needs are a breast pump and a refrigerator. These items are essential for ensuring our little one's well-being and for making our daily routines more manageable. We also have a few other items on our wish list, such as a hot water heater, computer, and security razor wire fencing for the top of our compound wall. While these are not necessities, they would greatly contribute to our family's safety and comfort.

Living as Americans in a developing country plagued by poverty brings its own set of challenges. We do not live in fear, but we also understand the importance of exercising wisdom. For almost two years, we endured living without running water or a refrigerator. With the arrival of our baby, having a refrigerator would be incredibly convenient. Moreover, we have experienced a frightening incident where burglars broke into our home, stealing all our electronics. Their audacity to enter our house in the middle of the night, unbeknownst to us, still sends shivers down our spines. Sadly, our neighborhood suffered the same fate that night, with six homes being targeted. To prioritize the safety and privacy of our family, we decided it was necessary to take action.

We are reaching out to all of you with a humble request for support. We hope to raise $800 to help address the pressing needs and anthing more will be applied in the most appropriate areas. As our Bio-Charcoal program progresses, we believe we will eventually become self-sufficient. Until then, any form of assistance is truly appreciated.

To offer your support, we have a few options available. If you prefer PayPal, you can visit Naka's Best website at nakasbest.org/support. For those in Uganda, you can use my wife's mobile money account at 0771898937 (under the name Nakasanke Teopista). Alternatively, if you are in the USA, you can send your support to Abundant Life Fellowship Uganda Missions at 1021 1st Street, LaSalle, IL 61301.

We cannot express enough gratitude for your generosity, and we prayerfully hope that God blesses you abundantly for your kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Because of your support, no matter the amount, someone in Uganda will be blessed by it.

My wife and I am thrilled to introduce the newest member of our family, Tehillah Zoe Ernat, who was born this morning at 8:40 am East African Time. With Tendo already embracing his role as the best big brother ever, our family couldn't be more delighted.

At a birth weight of 3.8 kg or 8.38 lbs, Tehillah entered this world with remarkable strength. The significance of Tehillah lies in its Hebrew origins, as it represents one of the seven words used to express worship to God. In this case, Tehillah signifies worship by extending one's hands, symbolizing the devotion and reverence to God.

Furthermore, the name Zoe holds a profound meaning as it embodies the rich abundant divine nature of God. Zoe captures the essence of God's fullness of love, joy, power, and ability. It represents the God kind of life, one overflowing with blessings and fulfillment.

We are grateful to witness the arrival of Tehillah Zoe Ernat and anticipate an incredible journey as she grows, surrounded by love and support. Her name holds deep significance and serves as a reminder of the values we hold dear in our family.

Thank you for allowing us to share this joyous occasion with you.

Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 NLT

In Luke 9:23, Jesus challenges His followers to give up their own way and take up their cross daily to follow Him. This call goes beyond merely modifying our behavior; it involves a complete surrender of our will and desires to align with God's purposes.

To give up your own way means acknowledging the limitations of our own understanding and abilities. It requires us to let go of self-reliance and self-centeredness, and instead rely on God's grace and guidance. This act of surrender opens up the possibility for God to work in our lives, allowing His divine power to manifest in areas that we may have previously considered impossible.

In essence, by giving up our own way, we recognize that God's ways are higher than ours and that His grace is sufficient for any circumstance. This act of surrender requires humility, trust, and a genuine desire to seek God's will above our own. It is a continuous process that demands daily commitment and obedience.

When we embrace this teaching, we position ourselves to experience the transformative power of God. By surrendering our way, we open the door for His wisdom, strength, and love to guide our thoughts, decisions, and actions. In doing so, we will likely encounter challenges and difficulties along the way, but we can trust that God's grace will sustain us and enable us to overcome.

Let us remember that giving up our way is not about losing our individuality or personal goals. Rather, it is about aligning our desires and plans with God's perfect will, trusting that His ways are ultimately for our highest good and the advancement of His kingdom.

May we continually make it a priority to abandon self-centeredness and embrace a posture of surrender, allowing God's abundant grace to empower us to accomplish things beyond our own capabilities.

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Matthew 5:8

In the presence of God, your heart becomes unburdened and radiates with a profound sense of peace and love. It is in the presence of God that you become a vessel, receptive to His beauty and goodness that is reflected from His creation. The veil of ignorance begins to lift, and the wonders that were once hidden are now in plain sight. You begin to see God in every detail of His creation.

With a pure heart, one finds perfect peace that only comes from being in relation with the Father. When your heart is pure you begin to see the Lord as your constant companion, even when there is chaos surrounding you. When your heart is completely surrendered every breath begins to carry more and more of the essence of God. In complete surrender you can sence the nurturing on your spitit by the Holy Spirit who lives in you. It is in this place that the Lords leading becomes more clear.
