The death of Pope Francis
-Even if you receive praise for good deeds, there is no salvation outside of Jesus -
I think of “The death of John Paul II” that I wrote 20 years ago. I cannot help but recall the column “Even if you receive praise for good deeds, there is no salvation outside of Jesus” in the same context.

At that time, the Vatican announced various wrongdoings committed by the Roman Catholic religion against humanity, such as the bloody Crusades, persecution of Jews, indiscriminate massacre of indigenous peoples in the New World, various forms of torture in the Middle Ages, and silence and sympathy for the mass murder of 6 million Jews throughout the 2,000-year history of Christianity, in a document called “Reconciliation and Unity,” and drew sympathy from all over the world. The world's praise for the death of Pope John Paul II, who became a star with praise such as "Apostle of Peace" and "Pope of Action," was tremendous.
Regarding the death of Pope Francis, there were also great praises such as "the first non-European Pope who changed the Catholic Church, a friend-father of the weak, the poor, and s*xual minorities until the last moment, an apostle of reconciliation and peace, a symbol of mercy and peace, and the Holy Father (Matthew 23:9)," and "he ascended to heaven with two wings spread like an angel, and entered heaven with Jesus welcoming him with both hands wide open," and the news of Pope Francis' death resonated throughout the world to an extent incomparable to previous generations due to the development of online media.
Liberation theologian Kim Geun-soo said the following: "The Pope, who is rooted in liberation theology and people's theology that pay attention to the church and faith of the poor, can be said to be a priest who incarnates the word among the people with his presence." I am not trying to devalue or criticize his good deeds or achievements here. Only God knows his eternal destiny. One thing is so clear in front of the Bible, the Word of God, which is the guideline for the soul and body of man: if he went to heaven, it was definitely not the result of his devotion, sympathy, good deeds, or human righteousness.
“As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:10, 23).
As a Jesuit, a leader of the Counter-Reformation movement, he boldly revealed to the world his anti-Christian, anti-Christian Catholic identity.
"The Bible is a very dangerous book. I propose to destroy the Bible and create a new Bible." "I am "During my life as a priest and bishop, I have always entrusted myself to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, and for this reason, I ask that my body be laid to rest in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, while awaiting the day of resurrection." https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2025-04/pope-francis-spiritual-will-and-testament.html
"While drawing the image of the cross wherever possible, I say that I am the Vicar of Christ (Against Christ), just as the serpent in the Garden of Eden agitated, saying, 'I am God,'" Pope Francis Tells Journalist that Jesus Incarnate Was Not God." "Jesus life ended in failure at the cross." "Vatican Declares Priests have MORE POWER than God Himself."
Although there is an abundance of information, they do not believe in 'only the Bible' or 'only Jesus', It is only natural for a leader of a pagan religion and a national Janus who is far from ‘faith alone’, ‘grace alone’, and ‘glory to God alone’. Despite this identity, the condolence message of the so-called National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK) is amazing.
“…The National Council of Churches in Korea cannot help but feel deep sorrow and regret upon hearing the news of the passing of Pope Francis, who lived the gospel of love and justice for the poor and the marginalized. As sisters and brothers united in Christ, we express our heartfelt condolences to all the Catholic communities around the world who are deeply saddened by the passing of the Pope. We pray that God’s mercy and comfort be with all the ecumenical communities around the world…”.
The unfortunate reality of the Korean church, where the “Council of Christian Faith and Order in Korea (https://www.fno.or.kr/), which was launched in 2014, has already become one with the anti-Christian Roman Catholic’s religious integration and absorption strategy, is unfolding. In a statement, Jerry Pillay, Secretary General of the World Council of Churches (WCC, https://www.oikoumene.org/), said, “The passing of Pope Francis will be a wave of mourning for the countless supporters and comrades in the ecumenical movement and the global fellowship of the World Council of Churches (WCC). The pope’s tenure was a great gift to the ecumenical movement, and he was a dedicated collaborator for Christian unity and reconciliation, and a prophetic voice for peace, the environment, and justice worldwide. The late Pope has shown compromise on LGBTQ issues, but ultimately added his voice against homos*xuality as sin and gender ideology."
“For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. Such are the deceivers and the antichrists. Take heed to yourselves, that you may not lose what you have worked for, but that you may receive the full reward. Everyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or greet him” (2 John 1:7-10).
In closing,
This text will probably be offensive to followers of the ecumenical community. Some will say, “… You may complain about how unkind, discriminatory, and heartless this saying, “Don’t even say hello,” is, but there is no love more precious and greater than the eternal spring of life, the Word of God. When someone is mercilessly dragged into the pit of destruction by an evil spirit, and many people are dragged away by the ropes of false truth, it is by no means love to just leave them alone.
It is the mission of a true Christian to preach the gospel and defend a life more precious than the entire land of the world from unbiblical and false religions. I hope that all theological seminaries and churches in Korea will teach apologetic theology about this false religion and become reborn as warriors of truth who take the lead in waking up the churches around the world that are falling asleep in the tsunami of false spirits.
