It's Day Five of our countrywide entrepreneurship and skilling training in partnership with Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives and funded by Government of Uganda. By now, the trained people are already using the common items in communities to make products used in our homesteads like washing soap, bathing soap, liquid soap, pavers and Vaselines. Other trained people are able to make daddies, bagia, and reusable sanitary pads.
As our core fundamental at MTAC; building capacity for enterprise development.

MTAC is carrying out job awareness entrepreneurship Training in different parts of the country from today 21st of November to Friday 25th.

The trainings are focussing on equiping the local people with marketable and practical entrepreurship skills so they are able to create jobs in their local communities.

Working with and under Ministry of Trade, Industry an Cooperatives with Funding from the Government of Uganda we shall be training organised groups in selected parts of the country.

These trainings are in line with Uganda National Development Plan III and Uganda Vision 2040.

Most Organizations have Policies and plans for allocating available or foreseen resources to achieve certain objectives. Key to this is Decision Making regarding to the available resources.
Project planning is a discipline that Involves the capacity and skill how to complete a project within a certain timeframe, usually with defined outputs/deliverables, and with designated resources.
However, some managers responsible for decision making do not have the knowledge, skills and inclination in project planning and management. This course is intended to address this problem.

This course provides learners with an understanding of the project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation processes. The entire project life cycle from conceptualizing of a project through to its closure is discussed. Learners are also introduced to software that makes project planning and management easier.

The course methodology comprises lectures, group work, practical exercises, case studies, individual exercises, reflective thinking and group discussions.

The Ultimate outcome of well-planned continuing professional development is that it safeguards the Public, the Organization, the Professional and the Professional's Career.
Cognizant of this, Management Training and Advisory Centre (MTAC) established a Continuing Professional Development Programme (CPD Programme) which offers a range of short courses, , meant to enhance skills and Improve Performance.

Target Group:
The CPD Programme targets professionals from all walks of life. Its non discriminatory in nature and therefore provides an opportunity to professionals at all levels.
