Uganda Martyrs University Fort Portal Campus Uganda Martyrs University, Fort Portal Campus was established in 2014 and is comprised of St. Josephs Technical & Bishop Magambo Counsellor Training Inst.

Uganda Martyrs University is nationally renowned for its academic excellence. To enable as many people as possible to access its quality education, without having to travel long distances to it's main campus in Nkozi, the university adopted an expansion policy establishing campuses in some designated parts of the country

The Fort Portal Campus was opened in 2014: It is located on Kinyamasika and

Virika Hills where it's two constituent institutes: St. Josephs Technical Institute and Bishop Magambo Counsellor Training Institute are based respectively. The campus is unique among the campuses of UMU, because it is the only campus where technical and engineering courses are taught. Courses are offered at certificate, diploma and degree levels. In addition short courses on apprenticeship scheme are offered
