I think its not too late to have a prayer. Let's pray.Loving father we bless your holy name this evening. Thank you for the night you took us through. We worship and praise you dear Lord. Father this evening we come to you asking for forgiveness. Forgive us of anger, bitterness, rage and every form of malice that we have hidden in our hearts. Forgive us and clean our hearts Lord. Help us to forgive those that we think have caused our hearts to be heavy with bitterness. Teach us the benefits of forgiveness my lord as we live in this harsh and rude world. And Lord as we prepare to celebrate another year of independence as country we pray that you continue to plant seeds of love, compassion, respect, kindness and forgiveness to one another as citizens of the same country. Give our leaders the heart to serve the people you entrusted them with. Do it Lord for your Glory and honour. We pray all this through Jesus Christ our lord and saviour. Amen.
