Highlighting Outstanding Project kuokongza mentees 2021
"My mentor has been amazing. He shared me with various materials about Data science since the day I've announced to him that my dream goal is to be Data Engineer. Next, despite the fact that I am from a French speaking country, he keeps pushing me to make presentation about tech topics to some Zimbabwean and Moroccan students. This helped me to build confidence and to improve my English speaking . He also had monthly meeting with all fellows where he encouraged me to speak up and never be shy. The experience has been insightful as it changes how I used to work and see my future careers"

'Project kuongoza has been one of those once in a lifetime opportunity to me. Through out my journey I learnt and understood the essence of teamwork. I realized the mentee/mentor relationship was more of collaboration. Doctor Branda Namumba was an amazing lady. She was always willing to listen and offer her guildance despite her very busy schedule. Mentees on the other hand were so humble, always willing to join our voices for a common goal"

"Learning from Dr Dorcas was an incredible opportunity. She was very kind and always let us (her mentees) to freely express ourselves and ask questions. From this program, l have been able to make lifelong friends and also gain access to some resources and knowledge and most importantly support, which made the program a safe space to be able to speak on my ideas and explore for options and advise. I'm truly grateful for this opportunity and I hope that it continues"

Do you know (Big) Data Analytics allows an Educator to measure, monitor, and respond, in real-time to a studentβs understanding of learning materials?
Analytics, showing how students learn can help educators adapt their teaching styles and address student needs before the final grade is delivered.
