On a sad note, we would wish to announce the sudden demise of Rev. Capt. Charles Ojandu, The Chaplain of Kuluva Hospital that occured on Tuesday night 29th August 2023, at around 2am, at Arua Regional Referral Hospital. 😭😭😭😭😭

Together with the family, friends and loved ones of Rev. Charles from all scopes of life, we mourn the sudden death of our Chaplain, and we pray for God's comfort in this hard times!!..
May his soul Rest in Glory and perfect peace!

THE FOLLOWING SETS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER AT THE ACADEMIC REGISTRAR's OFFICE
i- Diploma in nursing extension sets DN 8,9 and set 10.
ii- Diploma in Midwifery set DM 1,
iii- Certificate in nursing sets CN 16,17,18 and set 19.
iv- Certificate in Midwifery sets CM 6,7,8, and set 9

Registration starts today- the 23rd August- 15th September 2023.

The management and the office of the Academic registrar- Kuluva School of Nursing and Midwifery wishes to inform the Alumni who have not yet collected their academic documents (transcripts, Results slips and certificates) to do so from the school with effect from 10th March 2023-30th June 2023.

The sets informed are;

-Certificate in comprehensive Nursing (set 01-set 09) particularly those who have not collected their documents.

- Certificate in nursing (set 01-set 17)

-Certificate in midwifery (set 01- set 07)

-Diploma in Nursing (set 01- set 09).

Anyone who comes after the three months' grace period will be liable to payment of late collection fee. (collection without charge will be for 3 months' March- June).

NB: Qualified nurses and midwives are encouraged to collect and keep their academic documents, And not to abandon their original documents at the school.

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you for the interest in graduation,as a school we wanted all the nurses and midwives who have received their results to graduate but it's not possible due to the current situation.We wrote a letter to the district to seek for permission to allow us graduate 250 nurses and midwives but in the reply we are allowed to graduate 200 ,the comment on the letter is that unless the Presidential directive changes so be calm, other sets will graduate soon,we are aware that all those who completed their course paid for graduation,other sets will be in the next group but just like the District officials have commented if everything is opened fully automatically all the sets will be included.I am happy you people are active on this platform,For now the nurses and midwives from the listed sets should start registering with the school so as to book for the gowns.God bless you.

And below are the requirements and application process!!!!

1. Entry Requirements for Certificate Programs
>A Minimum of Five (5) Passes in the following subjects: English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics. No candidate will be considered if he or she has not passed the five(5) subjects.
>Physically fit and in good health and should be from 18 years and above
N.B. “A” Level with Sciences is an added advantage.

√. Applicant must have the following;
>Handwritten application letter,
>Photocopies of results for P.L.E, U.C.E
>Recommendation from previous school, L.C 1 Chairman, Religious Leader, Commitment letter from parents/sponsorer/guardian,
> Photocopy of Identity Card of previous school and national identity card.

>To be eligible for the above course, one must have passed any of the following;

>Certificate in Comprehensive Nursing

A mother of an eleven-year-old daughter is stuck at the Iganga Regional Referral Hospital after doctors failed to diagnose the condition her child is suffering from.

The condition, which started with an itchy pimple, has left the girl with an overwhelmingly swollen face.

These have been referred to Mulago National Hospital but are still unable to travel because of funds.
