STRATEGIES FOR MISSION:
Angetta Seed Secondary School, anchored to and guided by its Mission, intentionally and faithfully pursues its Vision goals by …
Providing students the highest quality Christ-centered education in an environment which nurtures faith and thankfully celebrates God's redemptive grace
Developing the God-given skills and abilities necessary for students to become productive,
responsible citizens whose growing relationship with Jesus Christ enables them to fulfill God's purpose in their daily lives and in their ultimate vocations. Promoting healthy physical, emotional and spiritual growth. Challenging students to excel, mature, and respond, both academically and socially, in a manner worthy of Christ, and to give guidance and counseling in that process. Grant as much tuition assistance as possible and scholarship to orphans and vulnerable students. Provide a safe and structured learning environment – highly relational, Biblically based, and student focused. VISION STATEMENT:
By the grace of God, Angetta Seed Secondary School will be…
An environment that holistically encourages growth of faith in Christ and nurture academic excellence that enables students to face the contemporary world challenges responsibly
A pursuit of excellence committed to providing Christian teachers and educational leaders who are empowered by the Holy Spirit and dedicated to establishing an exceptional educational framework that is innovative, future-oriented and responsive to the changing demands and needs of secondary school students in an increasingly complex and technologically advancing world. A partnership of students, parents, school, church and community in pursuit of best educational practices. OUR BELIEFS:
Angetta Seed Secondary School strongly believes that…
Every student can learn to become a contributing member of society
Student's learning must be the primary focus of all decisions affecting the work of the school. Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Students must be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning, given that students respond to learning in various ways. The teacher student relationships are one of the keys to effective learning
Teachers must be provided with ongoing professional enrichment to enhance instructional strategies, which reflect current research and best practices. Administrators, parents, teachers, students, and the community must share the responsibility of education and the advancement of the school's mission. Students must be challenged to learn problem solving techniques, develop healthy self-concepts, and learn to work with individuals of different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic levels. Students must demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills as well as be actively involved in solving problems and in producing quality work. Students must be provided a safe and orderly environment in which to learn. EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
These outcomes are measurable on a school-wide basis. By the time of completing secondary school studies, we expect our students to have the following self-identity and lifestyle:
I demonstrate faithful stewardship of God’s creation
I use technology appropriately
I apply knowledge both inside and outside of the classroom
I develop and demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills
I communicate effectively through written, verbal, & auditory means
I collaborate with peers
I master a variety of disciplines.
