Blessed Hope Primary and Nursery School, located in Alebtong central Village, Alebtong Parish, Alebtong Town Council, Alebtong District in Northern Uganda was established in Feb 2010 through community need led by Mr. Emmanuel Patrick Opio and Mrs. Precious Margaret Opio both are professional teachers who holds bachelor’s degree in educatio
n and has the love and passion for children. It is a Christian independent, privately owned school of excellence with a dynamic, happy learning environment and outstanding facilities to enable learners to achieve their full potential academically, physically, socially and spiritually with qualified, experienced teachers with passion and enthusiasm to fulfill the needs of each child in a sensitive, caring manner supported by the word of God. The school is under Blessed Hope Christian School started in 2009 with the aim; to engage in such religious, educational, charitable, and benevolent work for the interest of the child and to give hope to the hopeless children and families through different avenues that God would provide. The school started from the church as classroom with 65 students and has over the period seen a phenomenal growth to a population of 300 students in four years. The school is located in a four hectors of land between two churches namely Alokere i Yesu (Elim Pentecostal Church) and Apostolic Church (Pentecostal church).The School Management Committees are derived from a wide range of credible people in the community at large. The founders had the divine direction to start a school that would be a model moral character builder through the principles of the Bible, and contribute to the provision of quality education in Northern Uganda and Uganda in general so as to raise a new generation of world changers who will lead by positive influence.
