Digital transformation in healthcare becomes meaningful when it is connected to real educational and research practice.
Within the framework of the Digi-CHange project, a dissemination seminar was held at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University on the topic:
“Possibilities of Digital Thermometry for Assessing the Course of the Wound Healing Process Using the WALCOM HT-18+ Thermal Imager.”
The seminar was delivered by representatives of Ternopil National Medical University Professor Andrii Sverstiuk, Digi-CHange Project Coordinator at TNMU, together with Oleksandr Kulianda, postgraduate student at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, under the scientific supervision of Professor Mykhailo Korda. The event focused on the use of infrared thermography, digital image processing and quantitative thermogram analysis for non-invasive monitoring of wound healing.
This activity highlighted how digital technologies can support biomedical research, strengthen objective assessment, and contribute to the development of digital health competencies among future healthcare professionals.
For Digi-CHange, such activities are important because they demonstrate how digital transformation can be translated into practical learning, research, and healthcare education.
We are pleased to see project partners actively contributing to awareness raising and dissemination of digital health innovation across academic and professional communities.

📢 Partner Activity within Digi-CHange

On 9 May 2026, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University held a webinar within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Research Competition of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Information Technology division.

Organised as part of the Digi-CHange project, the webinar supported young researchers preparing for the national competition and promoted interdisciplinary innovation at the intersection of medicine, education, and information technology.

💡 Participants presented projects on semantic search, indoor microclimate control, personalised digital platforms, and secure communication technologies, showing how digital transformation can inspire future-oriented thinking among young learners.

🗓️13 травня 2026 року відбувся міжнародний кластерний захід «Building Resilient Minds for a Digital Future». Захід об’єднав представників трьох Еразмус+ проєктів - UkraineDigiTrans, BURN та Digi-Change навколо спільного бачення розвитку стійкого мислення в умовах цифрових трансформацій.

✅Із вітальним словом на заході виступила Заступниця Голови Національного агентства із забезпечення якості вищої освіти Наталія Стукало. У своєму виступі вона наголосила на важливості забезпечення якості вищої освіти в умовах швидких цифрових змін, а також на необхідності формування стійких освітніх систем, здатних ефективно реагувати на сучасні виклики.

💻Під час заходу учасники обговорили поєднання цифрової трансформації, людського мислення та психологічної стійкості як ключових складових сучасної освіти. Окрему увагу було приділено питанням розвитку адаптивних університетів, цифрових компетентностей викладачів та збереження критичного мислення в епоху алгоритмів і штучного інтелекту.

📢 Partner Activity within Digi-CHange

Within the framework of the project Digi-CHange I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University organised partner-level dissemination activities dedicated to digital transformation in medical education.

From 23 April to 5 May 2026, open lectures, webinars and student presentations focused on artificial intelligence, telemedicine, biosignal analysis, digital pathology and medical image analysis as important components of modern healthcare education.

The activities contributed to the Digi-CHange consortium’s wider efforts to support curriculum digitalisation, strengthen digital health competencies and prepare future healthcare professionals for digitally enabled clinical practice.
