I have loved travel for as long as I can remember. My parents instilled that in me at a very young age. Our summers, and a lot of our weekends, were spent travelling in our RV. We did a lot of local trips here in ALBERTA but also went on some long haul journeys. We drove to ALASKA, across Canada, and to Southern California, just to name a few. I loved seeing new places and learning about the history and culture. Social Studies was always my favourite subject in school.

The word 'travel' ends in one vowel + one consonant, but the last one is not stressed, so, we don't double the 'L'. British English: Travelling. In British English we spell travelling, with double 'L' because words ending in one vowel + 'L', to add some suffixes, we double the 'L'.

The best trip I’ve ever had in my life was to France. Although it happened two years ago, but I still recall this wonderful time with a great pleasure. I went there with two of my friends and it was really the right decision, because we travelled by coach and the journey took a long time. We were playing cards on the way, singing songs and joking all the time. As we arrived we checked in a hotel not far from the center. We were exhausted but in a good mood.

Travelling is the most exciting thing in the world. First of all, it lets us discover the world and to see different countries, experience their cultures and traditions. Moreover, we enrich our knowledge about life in general and particularly about ourselves. Travelling also gives us an opportunity to meet new interesting people, learn new languages and develop our skills. That’s why I’m trying to travel as much as possible.

Moreover, we enrich our knowledge about life in general and particularly about ourselves. Travelling also gives us an opportunity to meet new interesting people, learn new languages and develop our skills. That’s why I’m trying to travel as much as possible.
