Fake Hyena In Juba Street.
I have studied the Hyena roaming Juba Street and found out that it is fake. Carefully watch how it walks, and the confidence it has even when that driver was about to knock it.
Apparently, it is a human being from Yirol that is hunting for a goat or something to eat since it has failed to get food for the children at home.
To prove, upload the Hyena on Ai and you will notice clearly a woman that resembles Lady Kola.
Believe me, no real hyena could roam a street without being killed or with such a confidence.
Case close, Let us wait for Onen Jok' to complete his finding.

What brought that hyena to Juba?

WHAT NIMULE MODEL SS SHOULD DO TO MAINTAIN ITS REPUTATION.

If there is one school that flourished in the Madi Corridor over the years, it is Nimule Model Secondary School. Endowed with a strong sporting culture and academic excellence, the school outshone many institutions in the corridor and beyond. Its central location and open admission policy have enabled it to register one of the highest student populations in the region every academic year.

However, this glory has gradually declined over the past seven years. Following the breakdown of the education system during the 2016 conflict, South Sudan witnessed a rise in examination malpractice and other forms of indiscipline in many schools, including Nimule Model SS. Some teachers became reluctant to enforce discipline as students increasingly disrespected authority, relying on what they popularly referred to as "machot" to pass examinations. While other schools have made efforts to improve discipline and academic standards, Nimule Model SS continues to struggle with cases of examination cheating, student violence, and intimidation of teachers by a few rogue learners.

The situation became even more alarming when the examination results of more than 80 students were cancelled in the 2025/2026 academic year due to malpractice allegations. This incident placed the school's reputation under serious scrutiny. To restore its former academic glory, Nimule Model SS must take deliberate steps to address the growing problem of indiscipline.

Reduce Enrolment or Increase Teaching Staff
One of the major challenges facing the school is overcrowding. The administration should either reduce student enrolment or increase the number of teachers to maintain a reasonable teacher-student ratio, preferably the recommended 1:40 standard.
Teaching large classes is extremely difficult. In 2018, I taught English to approximately 304 students divided into only two streams. Considering that language subjects require frequent assessment and individual attention, managing such numbers was a daunting task. In overcrowded classrooms, teachers struggle to know students personally, monitor their behaviour, and provide effective supervision. Such conditions create opportunities for misconduct and make discipline difficult to enforce.
Indeed, there have been instances where the school administration reportedly sought security intervention during examinations when students attempted to cheat collectively. To effectively contain indiscipline, the school must either reduce enrolment or recruit more qualified teachers.

Introduce Rigorous Admission and Transfer Assessments
The school should strengthen its admission procedures for both new and transferring students. Proper vetting of students' academic records, disciplinary history, and transfer documents can help identify potential disciplinary concerns before admission.
In today's digital and artificial intelligence era, forged academic documents and transfer letters are becoming increasingly common. Without proper verification mechanisms, students dismissed from other schools for misconduct may gain admission elsewhere with ease. School administrators have a responsibility to ensure that all admission requirements are thoroughly checked and verified.
Enrolment should not be driven solely by the desire to collect school fees. Instead, the primary focus should be on nurturing disciplined, academically honest, and responsible learners who can positively contribute to society.

Enforce School Rules and Policies Consistently
Another important solution is the strict and consistent enforcement of school regulations. Unfortunately, some school administrators hesitate to discipline students because they fear losing academically gifted or talented learners. However, no student's academic ability should place them above school rules.
Weak enforcement of regulations has contributed to examination malpractice, fighting, bullying, and disrespect toward teachers. Every school operates under policies designed to maintain order and promote learning. When these policies are ignored or selectively applied, indiscipline flourishes.
Nimule Model SS must demonstrate the courage to enforce its regulations fairly and consistently, regardless of a student's academic performance, social status, or influence. This is necessary to protect the school's reputation and rebuild a culture of discipline.

Conclusion
Although this article focuses on Nimule Model Secondary School, many school administrators across South Sudan can benefit from these recommendations. Student discipline remains a critical factor in promoting a school's image and academic success.
It is better for a school to achieve average academic results with strong discipline than to excel academically while producing graduates with poor character and unethical behaviour. To restore discipline and academic integrity, schools should align enrolment with available teaching staff, conduct rigorous admission assessments, and consistently enforce school regulations and policies.
Only through these measures can schools minimise the transfer and spread of indiscipline while producing responsible citizens who will positively contribute to the nation.

Wait!
Must everyone that visits President Kiir open their mouth for flies to defecate on? Don't we know how to smile gently?
Our leaders need lectures on communication skills including how to open their mouth to a camera. One day the cameras would refuse to flash those teeth brushes. Kudos, our President is great at it.

Among the Ticks

Like a tick,
With a trick,
Acting slick,
Among the thick,
They scheme and pick,
Their lies will stick,
For they are sick,
To the quick.
