International Cooperation Between Poltava V.G.Korolenko National Pedagogical University and the University of Catania 🌍🔬
We are convinced that biology education is most effective only when theory meets practice. Thanks to the joint efforts of V.G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University and the University of Catania (Italy), a new project titled “Healthy Literacy & Microbiology Education for Teachers and Schools in Ukraine” has been launched. This project is part of the Seed Funding Programme under the Twinning Initiative, managed by Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG).
Today, the world is entangled in myths about viruses, bacteria, and antibiotics. Our mission is to nurture a new generation of teachers who can debunk these stereotypes and teach children to take care of their health consciously (this is what Health Literacy is all about).
Who is driving this change? In the video, you’ll see the team from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Management—from the leadership and experienced faculty to the sincere, energetic students. We’re proud of our young researchers, who are already working in laboratories, absorbing European expertise, and ready to transform Ukrainian schools for the better.
