The University central building is an architectural monument of the early XIX-th century.

This educational establishment was founded in 1818 as the Institute for Noble Maidens. The walls of the Noble Maidens’ Institute saw I.P.Kotlyarevsky and T.G.Shevchenko. The outstanding personalities of Ukrainian, Czech, Russian history and culture used to work as teachers at the Institute. Among the graduates of this educational establishment were O.S.Pushkin’s and M.V.Gogol’s great granddaughter

Courséra is an educational technology company founded by Stanford University professors in April 2012.
The University took advantage of the opportunity provided by the Coursera educational platform in connection with the pandemic coronavirus: access to more than 3,800 courses and 400 specialties from leading universities in the world and industry partners. Institutions will have access until July 31, 2020, and students will have access until September 30, 2020 to complete their courses. In addition, Coursera will develop monthly expansion plans as needed. This allows students from all disciplines to pursue quality education from anywhere in the world, as Coursera collaborates with universities from around the world to teach these courses online.
Coursera's free courses offer a wide range of topics, from business and technology to healthcare and the physical sciences. All of these materials are available through a single core curriculum that creates a virtual community of teachers and students at a time when physical assembly is simply impossible.
The courses feature video tutorials from renowned professors in several languages, supplemented by applied projects, interactive quizzes and peer-reviewed assignments.

Company has opened a training center for training and certification of oil and gas specialists according to IWCF standards at Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk
Today, the training center is equipped with DrillSim: 50 and DrillSim: Educator simulators. DrillSIM: 50 provides training for well drilling and drilling specialists to the standards of the IWCF (International Well Control Forum), which is a recognized acknowledgment of the professional level of professionals in the world. DrillSim: Educator combines an interactive well control simulator with two graphical displays that allow you to visually see and understand drilling and well control operations.
