The first models of T-shirts with pictures printed on them appeared not so long ago - in the 50s of the twentieth century. For the first time, such things began to be sold in Florida, and the company Tropix Togs became a pioneer in this area. The title theme of such inscriptions, as a rule, was the names of various resorts, and the models were sold as souvenirs. Later, pictures of Disney characters began to be applied to clothes, after the rights to this were obtained.
It is clear that this gave a new impetus to the popularization of clothing with applied patterns, which means that such things became more and more common. For example, other companies began to carry out inscriptions on clothes, even whole factories appeared that were focused exclusively on working with fabrics, namely, printing on them.
The early sixties saw a breakthrough in this industry as paints were developed that were much more durable than their predecessors. This has greatly expanded the use of dyes in the textile industry and made designs more colorful and durable, which has helped popularize the technology. In particular, silk-screen printing began to be used.
In the eighties, the era of thermochromatic paints began, which change color when heated. True, such paints did not last long, because they quickly faded and lost their amazing properties. In other words, buying such things was impractical.
Logos and other advertising labels began to be applied to clothing sometime in the 90s. It was this time that became the epogee of the corporate identity, which was used for various promotions. The silk-screen printing method was used, which remains popular today. But now everyone can design such a T-shirt. To do this, it is enough to contact specialized services and get an original drawing that no one else repeats.
