How can I explain to you what you have done for us….?

In a normal year, we buy costumes, pack mishloach manot, and prepare a meal to partake in the festivities.

This year was different. We were forced to face the reality that everything we worked for, all that we worked so hard to build for our children- the happy lives we took for granted- was taken away from us for reasons we will never truly understand.

But the joy of purim does no discriminate- and the kindness of humanity persists in the face of adversity- and you remembered us.
And thanks to you our children celebrated a purim they will never forget- and their infectious smiles lifted us up and gave us a purim we will never her forget your kindness

Call for professional volunteers

We have a group of refugees from Ukraine currently resident in 2 adjacent hotels in a Romanian seaside resort.
We have 700 at present, increasing to 1,200 or more in the coming days.

We are looking for volunteers:

1. GP (Family Practioner) with paediatric experience,
speaks Hebrew and/or Russian
To commit to an 8 day rotation: arrive in Romania on Sunday, leave on Monday

2. Nurse with paediatric and primary care experience. To see patients (adults and children), and to refer on to our resident GP as necessary. ANP (advanced nurse practitioner) Speaks Hebrew and/or Russian.
To commit to an 8 day rotation: arrive in Romania on a Sunday, to leave on the following Monday (to enable time for a handover).

We require suitable professionals for the following dates:
13-21 March
20-28 March
27 March-4 April
3 April-11 April
10 April- 18 April
17 April - 24 April

Transport, lodging and all meals will be provided.
