Exciting news from BlackSea Training Centre! We recently conducted an on-site Global Resource Management training in Istanbul, Turkey with the support of a local maritime academy. Our four-day course, which covered topics such as leadership styles and communication, aimed to enhance knowledge about human capabilities and limitations and promote positive attitudes towards safety and teamwork.

The 12 participants from Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, and Poland, including one of our female Chief Officers, now have a better understanding of various leadership styles and their application, and deepened their knowledge in Situation Awareness, Human Performance & Limitations, Attitudes, Communication and Cultural Awareness.

At BlackSea Training Centre, we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry, and our female Chief Officers are leading the way with their outstanding leadership and expertise. Congratulations to all who participated in this successful training!

BST BlackSea Training to provide Engine Cadet Training with practical lesson in Full Mission Engine Room Simulator

The course intends to provide in a series of 3 courses the Engine Cadet a relevant training for their maritime academy studies and combine them with practical cases from the shipmanagement business.

Part 1: Safety onboard / Vessel as complex engineering structure.
Part 2: Pumps & Air compressors
Part 3: FW production onboard / Fuel storage, transfer and treatment

Duration : 3 x 1/2 day with Theoretical lesson and Practical part on Full Mission Engine Simulator.

Entry Standards : The course is principally intended for Engine Cadet that completed 3 years of studies and 1st sea-service onboard (6 months)
