Exhibition «MANIFESTATION» - Bachelo’s qualification works of 2025 at the Faculty of Art and Graphics ХГФ - Університет Ушинського
On September 1, 2025, the opening of an exhibition of qualifying bachelor’s works of graduates of the specialty 023 Fine Arts, Decorative Arts, Restoration took place at the Faculty of Arts and Graphics (FAG) of the State Institution «South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky».
The project is called «MANIFESTATION» and demonstrates the students’ creative work, their professional growth, and unique vision of the world, embodied in various artistic techniques and directions.
«MANIFESTATION» is a testament to the talent, perseverance, and high level of training of young specialists ready for professional activity.

Winners of international creative competitions and festivals in 2025 are students of specialty 015 Professional Education (Design) of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University

During 2025, students of specialty 015 Professional Education (Design) of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" worthily represented the university at international creative competitions and festivals, where they won prizes and high honors.
Future teacher-designers demonstrated a high level of professional training, creative thinking, and a modern vision of the artistic image, receiving the Grand Prix, 1st and 3rd places in various nominations.
In particular, students participated in such international events as the “International Open Competition of Creative Design Projects “Art-Poglyad”” (Kryvyi Rih), “International Open Competition in Web Design and Computer Graphics” (Vinnytsia), “International Competition on Font Caligraphy “Pangram”” (Kharkiv), International two-round multi-genre art festivals-competitions “Our Beloved Ukraine”, “Global Talent Odyssey”, “Starry Future”, “Global Talent Fusion Festival”, etc.
Students approached the competitions creatively, presenting original projects in graphic and digital design, as well as decorative and fine arts, created under the guidance of teachers from the Department of Professional Education and Design. Scientific supervision was provided by: SHTAINER Tetiana, LISOHOR Alla, STRAUTMAN Linda.
The high results of students' participation in international competitions are confirmation of the quality of professional training and pedagogical support provided at the Faculty of Art and Graphics, as well as evidence of the professional growth and creative potential of future designers.
We congratulate the winners and their scientific supervisors and wish them further success, inspiration, and new achievements on their creative path!
The students' achievements once again confirm that the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushinsky University is a center for the development of contemporary art, design, and pedagogical education.

Guest Masterclass: «COMPOSITION: BUILDING AN IMAGE ON THE PICTURE PLANE» by Tetiana TYKHOMYROVA at the ХГФ - Університет Ушинського

On November 5, 2025, the Art and Graphics Faculty of Ushynsky University hosted a guest masterclass titled "Composition: Building an Image on the Picture Plane." The event was led by Tetiana Mykolaivna TYKHOMYROVA (Ishchenko), a methodologist at the Odesa Regional Educational and Methodological Center for Culture and Arts Institutions, and a teaching methodologist at the K.K. Kostandi Art School. It was attended by students of various specialties, faculty members, and guests of the Faculty.
Tetiana Mykolaivna, an alumna of the Art and Graphics Faculty, is an acclaimed MASTER of decorative and fine arts, and a teacher with many years of successful experience. She has mentored numerous generations of talented young people and prepared a plethora of fine and decorative arts teachers for both general and specialized art educational institutions.
For higher education students at the Art and Graphics Faculty, particularly those in Specialty A4 (014) Secondary Education (Art. Fine Arts), the masterclass was exceptionally useful and informative. T.M. Tykhomyrova shared her personal experience and original teaching methods for explaining the complex principles of composition in different genres. She achieved this through creative expression, the emotional experience of the creation process, and artistic imagery for children and youth of all ages from the youngest right up to, as it turned out, the oldest. This approach could be described as a scientific method for revealing individual vision and fostering an emotional dialogue first between the creator and the work, and subsequently with the viewer. It's a method for cultivating an understanding of the beauty of the surrounding world, harmony, balance, color, and, generally, a refined artistic taste, not through dry terminology, but through empathy and co-creation.

The meeting was moderated by Olha Andriivna TARASENKO, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Art History, and Professor at the Fine Arts Department of the Art and Graphics Faculty, Ushynsky University.
