Linnanmäki Amusement Park

Dormition Cathedral in Helsinki

Monument to Sibelius

If you translate the name of this maritime landmark in Russian we get "Finnish fortress". The building was erected in 1748, when the Republic of Finland was annexed to Sweden. In 1808 the fortress was conquered by the army of Tsarist Russia and owned it for a hundred years.
