Danylo Halytskyi LNMU - the second among the medical medical organizations of Ukraine by SciVerse Scopus rating

In April 2020, the site Osvita.ua monitored scientific-publishing subjects of Ukraine's publishing activities according to the SciVerse Scopus database, on the basis of which the rating of Ukrainian higher education institutions was made.

According to the rating, Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky ranked 12th out of 177 institutions of higher education of Ukraine, having 45 points in the Hirsch index (this indicator increased by 2 points compared to last year). By the way, the same index was recorded in five more educational institutions, which ranked 8-12 places, including Lviv National Polytechnic University

Scopus International Expert - Armen Gasparyan held a series of seminars

The seminar "How to write and publish an article in scientific journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science" international scientific bases was held in Lviv.

The seminar was conducted by Armen Gasparyan, expert of Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board, well-known scientist, editor, reviewer, expert on scientific communication and issues of presentation of scientific publications in international databases.

The event, which was organized by the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology, was attended by representatives of the medical community, including representatives of the Danylo Halytsky National Medical University - authors, scientists, graduate students, doctoral students, editors and others.

A team of young scientists led by an assistant of the Department of Microbiology, Danil Halytsky LNMU entered the TOP-10 online hackathon «Fix the crisis»

The main objective of the event was to offer innovative solutions that would be useful and would help to overcome the crisis in the country caused by the pandemic.

The organizers invited everyone, students, teachers, programmers, marketers, economists, lawyers, and anyone who has ideas of helping our society to participate.

The hackathon brought together 500 participants and gathered 58 ideas, which were evaluated by an expert panel. It included representatives of the State Property Fund, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the Eastern Europe Fund, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, the Radar Tech accelerator program, Genesis, Metinvest, Danone, Vodafone and others - all 26 representatives of 15 organizations and companies.
