The researchers from LNTU participated in an intensive five-day training program called "Enhancing Higher Education," held at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE project: "Strengthening the Role of HEIs in Industrial Transformation in the Context of the Industry 4.0 Paradigm in Georgia and Ukraine" from October 16 to 20, 2023.

A delegation from LNTU, including the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Research, Dr. Sc., Prof. Olena Lyutak, the Dean of the Faculty of Customs Affairs, Materials, and Technologies, Dr. Sc. Tech., Prof. Valentyna Tkachuk, the Head of the Materials Science Department, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Mykola Melnychuk (project coordinator), and an expert from the Department of Quality Assurance of Educational Processes, Licensing, and Accreditation, Ph.D. in Education, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Digital Educational Technologies, Yulia Melnychuk, represented the university.

According to the program of the event, participants familiarized themselves with the specifics of the educational process at KTH and ways to enhance the quality of education at both the state and course levels. A significant part of the event focused on the necessity of integrating the concept of sustainable development in education and teaching. The training sessions also addressed the digitization of higher education, as well as rethinking approaches to engineering education. An important focus of the training was on improving the efficiency of teaching educational courses without increasing the lecturer's workload and the importance of accurate assessment and feedback analysis from students. Each topics were accompanied by intensive workshops.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore KTH's campus and the local culture. The program concluded with a final reflection and the issuance of certificates.
The outcome of participating in the training includes new knowledge, experience, and a clear motivation to implement it at LNTU.

On June 23, 2023, the certification of the participants of the Certificate Program of Odesa National Mechnikov University "Integration of Industry 4.0 into production and managerial systems" was successfully completed by all 17 participants from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Uzhgorod, Mariupol, Pereyaslav and Odesa.
Trainers: project coordinator, professor of the department of management and innovations of the EPF Iryna Nyenno and head of the department of international relations, professor of the department of marketing and business administration Yurii Hrinchenko.
According to the results of the feedback from the participants, it turned out that the program greatly enriched the experience regarding Industry 4.0, is definitely useful, and they will gladly participate in other similar events.
The webinar is in the list of the Centre of Certification programs of ONMU, so the participants received two kinds of Certificates - issued by ONMU and by the HEIN4 ERASMUS+ project.

On March 24, 2023, Prof. Nataliya Vavdiyuk and students of the Lutsk National Technical University took part in a hackathon on digital tools for community brand promotion. Students offer digital branding ideas to attract investment.
Prof. Nataliya Vavdiyuk spoke about the main tasks of the Hein4.0 project, about the formation of a digital transformation plan, digital communication methods of the "Management Industry 4.0" course, and implemented digitalization projects and measures in the Volyn region.


In the "Digital Volyn" project, we are working on the promotion of investment catalogs of pilot communities. To search for optimal formats of digital catalogs and promotion channels, experts from our Volyn universities: Lutsk National Technical University and Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the public environment, community representatives, and authorities were gathered.
Volyn communities need to attract investments for development, despite the war, we have to accept new realities and look for new forms of work. We do not stop, we continue to look for joint digital solutions.

March 16, 2023, prof. Nataliia Vavdiiuk spoke as an expert in digital transformation about digital tools for community brand promotion to attract investments.
She also told about project Hein4.0, subject of the course "Management Industry 4.0" and how to attract new investors and clients for the company on the community in Volyn region.
