Soke Michael LaMonica has passed away. Together with his wife Chris, he was the guardian of the legacy of Shodai Soke Ryuho Okuyama. We learned a lot from him. He will remain in the memory of his students and friends.

Meiyo is the 4th principle of the Bushido code and it refers to "honor" or "prestige". This principle emphasizes the importance of maintaining a strong sense of personal honor and integrity in all aspects of life.
