Centre for International Law “Erga Omnes” (CILEO) is inviting applications for the fourth edition of its Summer Academy in Public International Law!

This year’s edition of the Academy, themed “International Law as an Act of Communication”, will explore the ways in which different actors, state and non-state, engage with the language of International Law, and the impact of their interactions on the concept and content of the law.

Dear NAU students,

We are happy to present you the opportunity to participate in the I European Human Rights Moot Court Competition, organized by IIR Moot Court Society and IIR Department of Legal Assistance🔥🔥🔥

⚡️Improve your knowledge of the European human rights law, learn to research, analyze, draft and plead⚡️

👩🏻‍💻🧑🏻‍💻The case concerns the latest trends in determining the jurisdiction of a state-party to the ECHR in the conflict zone, as well as the freedom of speech of a journalist when covering the events in the country.

✨ Some information about the Competition:
Language - Ukrainian 🇺🇦;
Participation is FREE;
Team composition - 2-3 members (number of teams from each university is unlimited).

📅 Dates and deadlines:
Deadline for teams' registration: April 11th;
Requests for clarifications must be sent by April 12th;
Deadline for sending memorials: April 20th;
Winners of the written round shall be announced on April 23rd;
Oral rounds will be held online on April 30th (the second half of the day) and on May 1st.

Dear Friends of Jessup Ukraine 🇺🇦

We’re delighted to let you know that the 2021 application process for judges is now open 🎉

This year the Ukrainian National Rounds will take place on 12-14 February 2021.

The application deadline is 20 January 2021, so save the date ⏰

The format of the National Rounds is offline 🌏

In case the epidemiological situation gets worse, and the relevant laws of Ukraine will force the National Administrator to cancel National Rounds, all judges, participants and partners will be duly notified (not later than 25 January 2021).

Jessup Ukraine is thrilled to announce some great news for all you mooters out there 🤩

We believe in unity and efficiency, and our biggest dream is to create a sustainable community of all likeminded mooters of Ukraine 👩🏻‍💻👨🏻‍💻

We are happy to let you know that Ukrainian Moot Court Society (UMCS) is launching the selection process to the Jessup Ukraine Advisory Board of the organization 🇺🇦

UMCS is a non-governmental nonprofit organization that strives to unite all Ukrainian mooters. The organization's main goal is to create a development model for Jessup and other moot courts in Ukraine and to take part in policy making of both internal and international moot courts as a community.

Who’s the perfect candidate for our dream Advisory Board?

🔸an active member of a Ukrainian and Jessup moot court community (judge/coach/advisor etc)
🔸has no conflict of interests with 2021 teams (not coaching or advising 2021 Jessup Teams)
🔸2+ years after graduation (alternatively, please provide reasoning of exception in the respective section in the Google form)

The decision making on acceptance to the Board is a competence of the Jessup Ukraine National Administrator.

Application deadline is 6 October 2020, so save the date ✅
