🏆 КНУ зберігає лідерство у науковому просторі України:
🔸 H-index Університету в Scopus зріс до 148, у Web of Science – до 142;
🔸 науковий доробок КНУ налічує 30 155 публікацій у Scopus та 28 383 – у Web of Science;
🔸 73 науковці Університету увійшли до рейтингу TOP 1000 Scientists in Scopus;
🔸 лише від початку 2026 року університетські дослідники опублікували 209 статей у високорейтингових виданнях, із яких 125 – у журналах квартилю Q1 та 84 – Q2.

🏆 Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has emerged as the undisputed leader in Forbes Ukraine’s “50 Best Faculties in Ukraine” ranking, with the largest number of entries among all higher education institutions in the country. A total of 14 faculties and research institutes from the University made the list —more than any other university in Ukraine.

The Forbes ranking evaluated faculties using a comprehensive methodology: the average score of incoming students, the quality of the educational environment and campus, the university’s financial resources, employer trust, and the demand for graduates in the labor market. The maximum score was 100 points. The results of a business survey on hiring graduates were considered separately.

KNU is represented in six of the seven ranking categories: STEM, IT, law and international relations, economics, humanities, and agriculture and natural sciences. This is what makes the University the institution with the broadest range of strong academic schools in Ukraine.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has achieved particularly strong results in STEM fields:
🔹 Faculty of Chemistry, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 1st place in Ukraine (71 points);
🔹 Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 3rd place (69 points);
🔹 Faculty of Radiophysics, Electronics, and Computer Systems, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 8th place (55 points).

In the IT field:
💻 Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics – 2nd place in Ukraine (67 points);
💻 Faculty of Information Technologies, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 8th place (58 points).

In the “Law and International Relations” category, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv sets the standard for legal and diplomatic education:

🌍 Educational and Research Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 3rd place (71 points).

📈The Faculty of Economics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was named the best economics faculty in Ukraine, scoring 79 points and receiving top marks for employer trust.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is most strongly represented in the humanities section of the ranking:

📚 Educational and Research Institute of Philology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 3rd place (75 points);
📚 Faculty of Geography, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – Official – 4th place (74 points);
📚 Faculty of History, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – Official – 5th place (72 points);
📚 Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 6th place (71 points).

🎋 In the category of agricultural and natural sciences, the Educational and Scientific Centre "Institute of Biology & Medicine" took 1st place in Ukraine with a score of 83 points – one of the highest in the entire Forbes ranking.

Overall, the faculties and institutes of The University topped four categories in the Forbes ranking: STEM, law, economics, and agricultural sciences. The university also became the undisputed leader in the humanities category by the number of represented departments and was named one of Ukraine’s leading centers for IT education.

These results underscore the academic prestige of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the strength of its academic departments, and the high level of trust employers place in the University’s graduates. The University continues to foster an environment that combines fundamental research, modern education, international collaboration, and the practical skills sought by employers.
