8 credits: Russian or Georgian in Tbilisi
8 credits: Conflicts & Identity in post-Soviet Space

Here at NovaMova we run several Study Abroad programs for US and Europe University students. You can take Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian at one of our locations in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova. If you are interested in conflicts in post Soviet States you can take a semester-long course in combination with Russian lessons. Just now in partnership with Stetson University in Florida and Georgian American University in Tbilisi we start our new religious summer program in Georgia.

Identity and Conflict program (ICON) students visited Moldova last week. 🇲🇩

They met with local experts and got new knowledge of history, identity and culture of Moldavians.
The students also tasted local “young” wine and practiced traditional Moldavian dancing!

"Home reading"

The newspaper Заря Востока was founded in Tbilisi in 1922 and was the major Russian-speaking newspaper propagating the Soviet ideology in Georgia. In 1972 its circulation was 130 thousand copies. Since 1991 it changed its name to Свободная Грузия (Free Georgia) and existed all the way to 2011.
