You must have questioned yourselves why kids are so reluctant to learn English. One of the reasons might be the feeling of apartness: English language, English boys and girls, England itself - all that seems like a very distant and unknown world! Kids are surrounded by people speaking their native language thus one might think 'Why do I need English? Why would I say 'mother' instead of 'mama'?'
Introduce your kids to England!
Make them feel closer to this wonderful country!
And mish@nya is a great starting point for that!
Here is a boy called Misha and a girl called Anya. Together they make Mish@anya!
Here they are, same kids as yours who speak their native language.
But they know for sure that there is a country called England where people speak a native language of their own which is English.
So Misha and Anya are wondering 'How do English boys and girls greet each other? Or which songs do they sing? Or which games do they play there?
