In light of the forthcoming European Parliament elections and the threats to democracy in Europe, Fine Acts — one of the Culture of Solidarity Fund Democracy Resilience edition initiatives — worked with 27 outstanding illustrators, one from each EU member state, who designed posters on democratic participation.

These artworks—used under a specific open license for anyone to use—are at the heart of a vast campaign supporting European unity and values. The campaign features showcases across European cities, an AR exhibition, and an extensive online activation to build momentum before the EP elections in June.

This project was made possible by the financial support of our Culture of Solidarity Fund Democracy Resilience edition, which supports European transnational initiatives that mobilise voters for the 2024 European Parliament elections and has proactively scouted diverse initiatives with a proven track record in strengthening solidarity and democratic resilience in Europe. It is powered by the European Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the Allianz Foundation and the Evens Foundation.

Polymodern Economics
An Economic Model Based on 300,000 Years of Human Experience; What to Measure for All to Thrive

Economics is typically divided up into macroeconomics and microeconomics, the former regards states, the latter companies, and households. We lack a macro-macroeconomic model for the global economy, and we lack a model that a) delivers healthy relationships among people and between people, planet, and economy, which will allow people, planet, and economy to interact and thrive in mutual balance as one big ecosystem, b) measures economic health in thriving rather than in growth, and c) supports and maintains different levels of economic complexity in enriching and meaningful rather than impoverishing ways. Polymodern Economics is a hypothesis or a model that offers this.
