From July 27 to August 3, ambitious law students from all over Ukraine will gather in Lviv to immerse themselves in the world of international law, practice practical skills, and meet like-minded people.

Participants can expect:
▸ Lectures and trainings from leading experts
▸ Practical classes in legal writing, advocacy, and presentations
▸ Teamwork under the mentorship of experts
▸ Final mini-moot
▸ New acquaintances and networking

Application process: filling out a Google form and interview on July 5-6.
Registration deadline: July 1, 2025.

Dear fellows of the Ukrainian Moot Court Community, mooters, and international moot court organizers,

Today is exactly one year since the beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine, and today the students of the Ukrainian Moot Court Community would like to make an official statement of appeal concerning the participation of Russian teams in the ongoing moot court competitions.

Almost a year has passed since the horrible Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Numerous atrocities were committed by the Russian side on the territory of Ukraine, thousands of civilians were killed, thousands of people were left homeless, buildings of Ukrainian educational hubs were constantly bombed, thousands of students were left without an opportunity to get an education and many of them were killed by the Russian rockets.

The whole international community shows its support for Ukraine, many universities opened their doors to Ukrainian students.

Meanwhile, there are Russian educational institutions that openly keep supporting the Russian invasion and all the atrocities committed by the Russian side.

Ukrainian Moot Court Community strongly appeals against the participation of the representatives of such Russian universities who are going to plead about the freedom of expression, prohibition of aggression, protection of the environment from pollution,  and argue about the importance of other fundamental principles of international law in this year moot court completions while strongly supporting the killing of innocent people in Ukraine and call for its destruction as a state.

It's also hardly possible to speak about equal participation of the Ukrainian teams and Russian teams since students from Ukraine are forced to prepare memorandums while seeking refuge in other states, hiding in bomb shelters, and being afraid for their lives every moment.

We ask you to read the official statement of the Ukrainian Moot Court Community and ban Russian teams from the universities openly supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
