The best place in the world to see rainbows is in Hawaii.
If you're an avid rainbow gazer and want to get your fill of the beautiful phenomenon, look no further than the state of Hawaii. A study published by the American Meteorological Society in 2021 noted that the area's "mountains produce sharp gradients in clouds and rainfall, which are key to abundant rainbow sightings." Air pollution, pollen, and a large amount of cresting waves also help to put Hawaii at the top of the list when it comes to rainbow quantity and quality.

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING
The famous three peaks of the National Park are among Wyoming’s most recognisable sights, the Grand forming the highest point of the range. BAYON, CAMBODIA
Built in honour of one of Cambodia’s most famous kings, Jayavarman VII, Bayon is a 12th-century state temple that’s a unique architectural feat in the heart of Angkor Thom. Fifty-four gothic towers carved with 216 gargantuan smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara – the bodhisattva of compassion – fill the temple, and the design showcases the shift from Hinduism to Mahayana Buddhism. With Angkor Wat not far away, Bayon, its off-the-beaten track little sister, is a close second in popularity.

Boracay, Philippines
At less than four square miles, this compact Philippine island grew up fast, transforming from under-the-radar to overtouristed in the span of a few rocky decades, and it was temporarily shut down in 2018 to allow for much-needed redevelopment and rehabilitation. The island’s most famous beach is the three-mile White Beach, where the sugary sands provide the perfect blank canvas for viewing magical sunsets and blue-sailed paraws (outrigger boats) that skim along the horizon. On Boracay’s eastern shores, steady winds make for some of the best kiteboarding and windsurfing conditions in the region.

. Anguilla
With 33 beaches to choose from on a 35-square-mile island, you’re never far from a relaxing spot to dip your toes in the Caribbean. On this most northerly of the Leeward Islands, the trade winds serve dual purposes: as a natural air-conditioner and as a delivery device for the wafting aromas of grilled lobster and crayfish, lovingly prepared at the island’s many roadside barbecue stands. Thanks to its powdery white sand, buzzing Shoal Bay East is the island’s most popular beach, and its string of rum-punch-slinging bars even attract day trippers from neighboring St. Martin.

The first iPhone wasn't made by Apple.
The first mobile device to be called an "iPhone" was made by Cisco, not Apple. It allowed the user to use the voice functions of Skype without a computer. Apple announced its own product just 22 days later, and Cisco sued for trademark infringement. The lawsuit was ultimately settled out of court and both companies were allowed to keep using the name. However, you've probably never heard of the Cisco iPhone.
