You’ll learn how to pronounce it naturally (without breaking your tongue 😅) and how to spot when English Y becomes Ukrainian "и" or "я", or an apostrophy😏

👨👩👧👦 Family matters — especially when you’re learning Ukrainian!
How to say your family in Ukrainian 👇
МАМА (MAH-ma) — mom
ТАТО (TAH-to) — dad
БРАТ (BRAHT) — brother
СЕСТРА (se-STRA) — sister
ТІТКА (TEET-ka) — aunt
ДЯДЬКО (DYAD’-ko) — uncle
ПЛЕМІННИК (ple-MEEN-nik) — nephew
ПЛЕМІННИЦЯ (ple-MEEN-ny-tsya) — niece
When you see a big letter — that’s the stressed syllable.
Try saying each word slowly twice: first by reading it, then imagining your own family 😁
