The results of the Nansen EDU: Norwegian-Ukrainian Cooperation in Higher Education 2025 call have been announced. HK-dir (The Directorate for Higher Education and Skills) received 76 applications, of which 73 were considered to fulfil the formal requirements for further processing. 16 of these proposals (22%) have been supported.
Among the 16 winning projects is a proposal, "XR LifeLab: hybrid laboratories for biophysics and analytical life sciences to ensure the sustainability of Ukraine's higher education sector". This joint application received a high score of 6.3 and grant funding of 4,993,695 NOK.
The hybrid laboratories project further confirms the Biomedical Engineering Department's strong academic reputation and cutting-edge research.

NURE Strengthens Cooperation with Nuclear Industry at Key Career Event. Representatives of NURE – lecturers of CITARSE Department – took part in the Professional Higher Education Institutions Day, held at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant.
The large-scale career guidance event brought together leading technical universities, energy sector professionals, youth, local authorities, and the employment center. The NURE delegation engaged in open dialogue on aligning educational programs with the real needs of the energy complex, enhancing practical training, and organising internships under martial law.
The event highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between academia and industry to build a skilled workforce for Ukraine’s atomic energy sector.
