Together with Kyiv entity, we spent our traditional EGEA Weekend in the cozy city of Cherkasy, and the whole trip felt wrapped in pure vibes. The wide, calm Dnipro River became our constant backdrop — long walks along its banks, fresh wind, foggy weather , and that feeling of true hoa hoa wether

Cherkasy kept surprising us: the peaceful atmosphere around the Buddhist temple, the green park paths, the viewpoints that opened up endless landscapes. Every place felt like a small discovery, a moment you want to save in your memory map.

We shared stories, laughed, wandered, explored, and welcomed our newcomers into the EGEA spirit — full of curiosity, connection, and the love for discovering the world step by step.

A weekend of river breeze, city calmness, and geo energy that will stay with us for a long time. On to the next adventure with EGEA 💛💙🌍

KNU Dormitories Hit.

On the night of May 25, a piece of a Russian drone struck the student campus of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The attack damaged Dormitories No. 6(geography) and No. 7(geology), home to dozens of students.

Thankfully, there were no fatalities, but the destruction is severe. These dorms are more than just buildings — they are homes, study spaces, and places of friendship, memories and growth for hundreds of young people.

We are now raising funds for urgent restoration work. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to rebuilding what was lost — and showing our students they are not alone.

It's time to talk a bit about Reality check: journey through Ukraine – en event which was made by EGEA Lviv, EGEA Kyiv and EGEA Support Ukraine. Our event has come to an end, and we want to extend a huge thank you to our amazing partners who helped make it all possible:

Do you know that last weekend EGEA Kyiv visited the wonderful capital of trams - VINNYTSIA?🤗

Those two days were absolutely epic and we’ll never forget them🥹
We got lots of new positive emotions, memes and adventures🥳
We saw the fountains and embankment of this beautiful city, walked through its streets and parks, immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of autumn Vinnytsia 🤩

Unforgettable weekend with EGEA! 🫡🫶🏻
Chernihiv-Slavutych 🤗
Diving into history, we visited two cities in two days 🚀

The city of Chernihiv, whose “heart” was destroyed by the russians, showed us the consequences of war... A rally in the city center, incredible views that opened up to us, historic churches, well-maintained parks, monuments to prominent people, beautiful and spacious streets - these are the highlights of Chernihiv that we recommend everyone to visit! 😍😮‍💨

Later, we were lucky to visit the youngest city in Ukraine - Slavutych.
A city built in the forest - spruce, pine, and birch trees that are NOT artificially planted, you can truly feel the aroma of pine there 🙌 This is a place that changes your worldview 🥰

In the friendly EGEA team, we spent an unforgettable, fun weekend now filled with memories and positive emotions 🔥👏❤️🤟

🇺🇦 «Voice of Ukraine»

We are pleased to announce that the lecture «Volunteering in Ukraine: experience, challenges and features of development» was recently held as part of the «Voice of Ukraine» project. During the lecture by , we explored key elements of volunteering, its impact on society, and the importance of support during the recovery period ✍🏻

We would like to thank once again our friends from EGEA for their financial support of Ukraine and the provision of humanitarian aid 🔥

In this post, you can also see photos from the exchange EGEA Kyiv with and , where our participants actively took part in the reconstruction, clearing the destruction caused by the Russo-Ukrainian war.
