Our students in our school understands the importance of this Holy month they recite the Quran, singing different songs .
Understanding the importance of prayers and being close to Allah in a childhood moment it builds them to grow and become strong in faith and believe in Allah .

Madrasa plays a vital role in the educational journey of Muslim students all
Over the world, providing a space to deepen their understanding of Islam, Quran, and Islamic history.

At Assalam School, after a full day of academic studies, our students attend madrasa where they immerse themselves in learning about the Quran and Islamic teachings.

In the last 2 weeks, our Primary 5 & 6 students embraced their creativity by designing vibrant, unique, and informative Ramadan posters. Through this project, they not only welcomed the blessed month of Ramadan but also deepened their knowledge and enjoyed the creative process.

The students at our school got together to decorate the classrooms and school areas for Ramadan. It’s a nice way to get into the spirit of the month and make the school feel festive. It also helps everyone feel involved in the celebration.

We had a very productive meeting with the Leera School. A team that works with their hearts warmly welcomed us. Our collaboration will continue.

Our school is intertwined with nature and designed with natural materials. Our students love listening to lessons outdoor classes, in open spaces.

The handprint art allows children to develop their artistic creativity and express themselves individually. They use their imagination to create unique animal prints. This type of art is not only a creative pleasure but also a powerful educational method that strengthens cultural connections and provides children with valuable knowledge and skills. It encourages the appreciation of wildlife and their environment and is seen as a richness for education and community life.

Even though many of us are against the circus culture, we still can't help but watch in awe at the magic tricks we know from circuses. At our school, children absolutely adore magic games; they inspire each other and develop their illusion skills. When we see the skills and speed they gain from these tricks the only thing we can do is watching in astonishment, and giving a hearty round of applause.

We are dedicated to raising respectful children who value and appreciate nature. We have a small garden ın each class to instill a sense of environmental responsibility and connection with the natural world. We are providing them with hands-on experience that promote environmental awareness and srewardship. This practice can help children develop a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving and protecting nature.
But first we should anlyze the soil composition!

As our ancestors said, a sound mind resides in a sound body. Since we wish from the pupils that graduate from our school to heal Africa's wounds and find remedies for its problems, we must equally prioritize the physical health of our children. That's why our school menu is very diverse, and that's why we provide our children comprehensive training in swimming and karate. After a year of karate training, our students have started turning the sports activities they learned into performances. God willing, may all our successes grow, flourish, and may we watch spectacular performances from our children, amen.

Ngoma literally translated means 'drum' and is a term used to encompass all local African traditional forms of dancing, drumming and singing. There are literally hundreds of different ngoma styles throughout Tanzania, variations often being so slight that untrained eyes and ears can hardly notice the difference. A number of these originate from Zanzibar and Pemba and all are spectacular to watch. Each ngoma style has its own special costume. In kyaso, men dance dressed in shirts and kikois (special woven cloth from the east African coast) with a long, narrow stick in their hand, all movements beautifully coordinated.

Students of AIS have a large library that includes a variety of books with different languages and subjects. 📚📖

As of 2023, AIS has a total of 113 students enrolled, 12 teachers and 7 classes in kindergarden and primary school.

We, as Assalam International School, visited Maarif School in Zanzibar as part of our efforts to connect and network with local and international schools and organization all around the world.

We encourage other schools to join our network, as it will allow us to share resources and ideas. This will help us develop better teaching methods and create a more supportive learning environment for our students. We believe that this collaboration is the key to achieving success in education.

We are sister school with Istanbul International School from Istanbul.
Our dear friends come to visit us. Thank you John, Mucahit and Jaime, we already miss you!

Onlarca projemiz olduğu, her gün yenisinin eklendiği doğru ancak önceliğimiz daima okul oldu, eğitim oldu. Bu döneme Uluslararası Okullar Birliği üyesi hatta yolun hümanizm ödülünün sahibi olarak başlayan Assalam International School için en iyisini araştırmadığımız bir gün yok! Şİmdi ise İstanbul Uluslararası Okulu ile iş birliği yapmaya başladık, okulumuzu ziyarete Zanzibar’a geldiler ve her gün atölyeler düzenliyor deneyimlerimizi paylaşıyoruz. Gelecek için çok heyecanlı, çok umut doluyuz!

On 16th January we did the official opening of our vocational training and youth center by the hon. Minister of community development, women and children .riziki.pembe , Turkish ambassador , our district governor, our graduates and new students. Our students also made a performance. May God make this center be hope and bread for many people..
