🌍 22nd April 2026 — This Earth Day, BSZ showed UP!

Our students traded their school bags for trash bags and hit the beach and honestly? They made it look cool. 🧤✨
From the tiniest volunteers to our amazing teachers, every single person gave it their all. Plastic bottles, old nets, bags, and more, Zanzibar’s shoreline didn’t know what hit it. 💪🌊

We believe that real change starts with small hands doing big things. And today, our BSZ family proved exactly that.

Thank you to every student, teacher, and volunteer who showed up for our planet. We are SO proud of this community. 🏫❤️

Our Nursery students had an exciting visit to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport ✈️

From watching airplanes take off to learning how the airport works, it was a fun, hands-on experience filled with big curiosity and even bigger dreams.

Earlier this week on Monday, our Year 3 students had the most beautiful pottery workshop at 🤍

The students made their own chetezo pieces and were completely locked in. I’ve rarely seen them that focused. Just quiet concentration, creativity, and proud little smiles when they saw the final result.

A big thank you to Mrs. Muna and her lovely team for hosting us so warmly and for the delicious snacks too. It’s Thursday and the students are still talking about it… which says everything ✨

From the moment we hit Paje, the vibes were electric 🌞 Students ran through the sand, splashed in the waves, and laughed until their cheeks hurt.
Every game, every hangout, was pure excitement. By sunset, we’d made memories that will last a lifetime unforgettable day!
