IESC/Zanzibar

IESC/Zanzibar

IESC is an innovative U.S. based nonprofit organization engaged in education and sports consulting in East Africa. IESC has operated continuously in Zanzibar since 2006 providing education and training programs to the people of Unguja and Pemba.

IESC is a non-government organization based out of the United States. We are a non-profit organization seeking to benefit the local communities in which we live. We seek to give hope for the future by providing resources leading toward community development. We seek to empower local communities by encouraging and equipping them to use the resources they have available as well providing needed outside resources. These resources include physical things like books and buildings, but we focus on providing education and capacity building for the local communities in which we live and work. IESC provides continuing education clinics and capacity building workshops for teachers, coaches and health care professionals. Whether teaching primary school teachers different techniques and methods or teaching basketball coaches new skills and strategies, IESC seeks to invest in the leaders of today so that these leaders are better equipped and empowered to invest in tomorrow's leaders.

We use "have you ever" to ask about things people have already done in the past.
For example,
"Have you ever played football?"
"Have you ever cooked chapati?"
