Why Africa lags behind in technology?
Please let us discuss but this is my opinion.
The education system is still predorminantly theoretical based and if technically approved few skilled personnels train abroad and will pass on that know how or know who they acquired abroad or at an internship.

Besides Africa has not yet realised the impact of Robotics a field of science ignored from grass root ICT efucation system with less focus on education syllabus planning and structuring in ICT training.

For instance Computer Science taught without basics in Electronic is myth in ICT fields .

Let us stop adopting Technology , Let us invent everything here in Africa like building epic centers for Hardware and software hubs like silicon valley . Investing in young generation IT teachers will enhance technological growth.
